On a spectacularly clear and chilly October morning, the Moore family brought their apple cider pressing equipment to Peopleplace so we work together and make our own cider.  The children busily washed the apples, dumped them into the grinder, transferred the ground apple mush into the screens and watched as Terry moved the mush over to the press.  Once at the press, the children slowly tightened the jack to squeeze the apple mush until cider was pouring out the cider spout.  Everyone had a chance to not only taste the cider, but also take some home to share with families.  We even managed to save a few gallons at Peopleplace to share with everyone who comes for our Trunk or Treat and Night Tree celebrations.

Thank you Terry, Avery and Jack!!
